Who has given up?

As I sit again delving through countless web pages in an attempt to make sense of a Pyramid Riddle I was wondering who has given up trying.

My first real attempt was the Lancaster Pyramid which I discovered the day after it was placed, much to the surprise of the shop staff. Unfortunately I was looking for a free isis and didn't have a password. I spent weeks after that trying to discover the password but to no avail.

The Yorkshire pyramid is/was a lot closer or so I believe because although I feel I've connected the region with the cheese and the end of the line, I still have no idea where the pyramid actually is - feel free to provide a clue if you think you know where it is. As for the rest of the riddle I 'think' I know the low road and may have discovered the 'Golden Valley' but I have to say I'm not that confident.

However, the Birmingham pyramid which I decided to have a look at seemed relatively straightforward up until the last line (don't they all !!!). I know the location, the region and have connected IR with Innovations and the circle. I have 2 options for the wolf but neither lead to a 'Key' directly... think I am close to giving up now.

Ive been informed that the pay to guess utility is all or nothing - by that I mean that you have to have the word exactly correct (e.g. archaeologist is different to archaeologists or archaeology) there are no tolerances built in and to try each variation would be expensive although you may be 99% correct with your first guess.

Anyway, good luck to those still trying. Some people do manage to discover the password.

Just yesterday, I decided to give up on the riddles. The minute the London password loses it's gold, I'm going for a silver. I have wasted days on trying to work them out.

Here's my track record so far:
-Stuck on the Yorkshire pyramid
-Beaten to the London pyramid (I was stuck, anyway)
-Stuck on the Bristol pyramid
-Beaten to a PH riddle (stuck, too - still don't know how the first bit links to the rest of the riddle)
-Stuck on an NK riddle
-Stuck on the new London pyramid
-Stuck on the Tut riddle
-Confused by the extra Tut clue with NK

To top it all, my wife got a PH and NK riddle, and both of them were fairly easy. She solved her NK riddle in about 5 minutes. Shame they were both ipod shuffles though

So whilst I'm finding it quite difficult to do, I'm going to stop looking at riddles for now, and just wait until Isis II is out. If SW drop the passwords, then I may have another go.

I really hate to say it guys but I was thinking the same only yesterday
Im currently working on 4 pyramids, I know the exact locations of 3 and Im 99% sure on the 4th, but the passwords have me totally stumped
Having spent many months on both these and the 1A riddle im beginning to think it's not meant to be

That said, I did win a prize in the award zone (sorry ChadH) which gives me a little hope (though that was more luck than anything)

I think I'll keep at them for now just incase I have a brainwave

When I say days, I take all of the hours I've spent on it, and count 24 of them as 1 day. In total I reckon a good week or so of solid hours has been spent on riddles.

Puzz, how about some prize pyramids without passwords - maybe even with a reduced prize. As nice as the money would be, I'm much more interested in getting a gold coin.

The clues are very hard, I have just opened my ISIS and started looking at the pyramid clues.

It is hard enough working out the location........ then having to drive there........... without needing the password aswell, surely this is enough of a challenge to get a coin? and all this after actually opening the ISIS! Maybe scrap the

Guess a word and see if you can get it to fit - that's if you've worked out all the clue except the password. It's pointless so don't go there

My current status:

Looking at 3 pyramids that are accessible to me:

I have NO idea about the Birmingham one.
I have a fair-to-middling idea about the Yorkshire one (I've tried a few places but not found exact location yet... no idea about the clue).
I have found the Wales one but I know it's only silver... I'm thinking of just going for it anyway... might have time to drive oer there next weekend.

Yep...given up too. Far too convoluted now and in my opinion not in the spirit of the original game. We are all chasing ghosts and obscure clues in which for me the effort and expense expended outweighs the prize money on offer, so to quote a phrase from DD.... "THAT'S WHY I'M OUT". Not even remotely interested in Isis II.

Must admit it, there are far easier ways of making 500 quid or even a grand come to that. So what is it that keeps us interested if its not the money? It can only be the thrill of the chase and the chance of the glory (even if its only in your own head) of working out the seemingly incomprehensible clues before anyone else.

As for Isis 2, I certainly hope the wait will not be too much longer and indeed worth it, because if it isn

I see no rush there is plenty for us to do between solving the riddle that follows opening the ISIS and then you have nie little mini games like the mystery pic. I know I havent solved any of the riddles yet and I am looking forward to the pyramids to be released here ( I am across the pond) and if you get bored do what I do keep checking back here and help new adventurers or promote the puzzle to your friends and if they get them then you can watch them squirm trying to open their ISIS. I have friends here looking for free ISIS oer the christmas break and if they find one I will get to watch them having fun. I am in no ruch for all the ISIS to be released because just like land once it is gone thats it and I am in no rush for all this to be over I am looking forward to years of enjoyment from this and that is something that should keep your interest up.

many of the riddles have been solved recently, VP's and TSI award zones etc...

Only the other day another riddle was solved, explamation on forum for that one posted by myself.

Obviously the riddles are not goig to be easy all of the time, but all are easily solved if you start off on the right track.
