September 2 of 2

It was relocated from its original position - perhaps a theme as the first IOW isis was on the original lighthouse site I believe. The original site is likely to be a bit dangerous though (if it still exists). Noticed on the web cam that there is an area of what looks like dense undergrowth in the foreground but couldn't determine if it was fenced off or not. Sue - did you ask at the cake shop if they knew anything about it ?

The place it was, was much closer to the sea and was in danger of being lost, it was moved back to a safer place. As it is now right on the edge of the cliff, I can only assume its original position no longer exists.

There could be some helpful info at the museum.

Was there a info board at the site, this may lead on to some thing. I googled the builders name but nothing exciting as yet.

Frustrating isnt it :? Still thats just what sw wanted!!!!

I wonder who else will go down for a look around
If its still unclaimed next week end I may be tempted as its a lovely part of England.
Good luck

May just be onto something!!!!!!!!

On the web cam map there is a place named 'Adventure International'
this is an adventure centre, it does fit that it could be involved in some way and that sw knew we would find the tower and then the web cam page.
My best bet would be to go to the centre and look around for something that ties in with the word 'isis'.

I just wish I was down there 8)

Maybe it is hidden in line with SW? Keep in mind though that when it was moved the builders did not align the compass points correctly when they put back so SW could be where SE is for example. It is 90 degrees out, so I would look at the arc from the left hand side to the rear when facing the front door.

Yes but they knew nothing at all, some of them didn't even know it was there.

The tourist information was shut.

Adventure International is a type of hotel

The SW pointed along the cliff path which was out of the question to try (stupid dog and a not very mobile partner)

There were no notice/information boards.

You can only get to the ridge above the door if you are about 8 feet tall, I did stand well back and look and there was nothing there.

Inside looks very much like the outside. The stone work is solid and smooth so no gaps inbetween the stones to hide even a bit of paper.

Above the door on the inside were two holes where the bricks were broken but both were empty.

I thought it would have to be there as well as the picture was the only clue. The picture was not easy to find either, it took a good few hours of googling.

The other Isis searches lead you step by step to the spot :? OK, this is only one step but it was a hard step

We found that too, it was about the only link we did find that would be possible, all the others were private property :(

Yeah, funny how when you find TToTW and Google search how many other similar designs exist. A couple look almost identical apart from lighter stone from being out in the sun too long. I've travelled far and wide in search of one of these, I'm not going to Greece! But then again, it could be me. Note to self: Stop trying to convince yourself! Good luck to who ever finds it! If someone stands still for more than 10 minutes on the webcam shot they must be looking for the Isis. Even some people take their dogs along for cover, very clever.

This suggests the answer can be found on the internet - something to keep us busy during the long evenings.

Trebor, we took our dog, she's half the reason we went. Her fascination with the cliff edge goes a long way to why we won

just remember that the isis I found was in fact one of the isis instruction booklets slipped between two roof joists then covered over by a twig.

So any crevice or crack could be the hiding place.
