Inner ring sticks...

Hi folks,
I have finally gotten home from my trip (where I solved the Ramisis, finally!) and picked up my Copernisis.

It's doing something weird... The inner ring stops , ............edited

Is this to be expected, or have I got something jammed that shouldn't be?

Also, there's a bit of silver that moves up and down inside the notch that I think is the key drawer... Is that the key, or part of solving the equation notch, or part of the puzzle?

Thanks for any information, whether I need to send this in for repair, or do something to reset it, or just keep swimming...

Nick

The coppernisis is really a uncommon puzzle, but i think it's ok, if you want to double check send me a pm.

I think if you can get the inner ring moving again then you are probably ok (hard to tell what the exact problem is after the edits). The rings moving hard could even help you with the puzzle. On the harder versions like the devil, the rings slide too smoothly

Ah, okay. The edits cut out specifics like ring position, and clicks.

Oddly enough, while I can make many of the other rings lock (Gorilla glue is fantastic for this... Locks things RIGHT up) - No matter WHAT I do to this puzzle, I can't make the inner ring move beyond a certain point. All the other rings can be "reset" to move to both ends of their channels, even after they lock.

Now, based on what I've been able to glean, it's likely I have some moving piece, slightly moved, so it stops the inner ring. I can't decide if I want to try and "pick" the "lock" on the puzzle, or keep working on the right way. :) Both will be fun.
