Extreme Help

I believe that I have the positions correct, but....

...nothing happens... I'm guessing there's some kind of orientation of the puzzle or internal magnet in the Extreme version.

Can anyone confirm or deny or help in a way that won't solve it for me, but let me know if I'm on the right track.....

I have had this experience too.

Did either of you figure this out? I didn't try the original and started with the extreme. I think I have the positions right, so any other advice on the extreme would be appreciated!

Has anyone made any further progress on the Extreme Copernisis? I'm at a point where I'm ready to just chuck it.

That is, of course, if anyone else is still around on these boards!

How much of a difficulty spike is there? I haven't tried any of the extreme puzzles as of yet.

There is a difference in the Isis, still can't figure it out. Ramisis hard to tell because I got lucky with my extreme and haven't tried the normal one. Copernisis, NO difference that I've found. Even the equation appears to be the same.

Vlancii, did you get the extreme equation chamber open and is it the same? I've solved the Devil and the regular, but my extreme doesn't open with the same planet pattern
Unfortunately my equation chamber is too tight to move so I haven't been able to check...

As far as I can tell, the equation is the same as for the basic version. The ring positions are similar, but a click or two off, and couldn't figure out the difference, so I just played with it and ended up getting it.

I was extremely disappointed in the fact that the equation is the same and the solution appears to be the same. Maybe the only difference is the equation chamber is a bit harder to open? If that's the case, then the extreme was just a waste of $$ and an increase in disappointment.

It would be nice if Puzz would check in once in a while and comment. :)

Is the devil different? Different equation or solution?

The solution to the Devil is the same as the base. A trick or two changed, but not the solution itself. The rings also have a very smooth action, almost impossible to count clicks.

That's very disappointing. It sounds as if the "Extreme" really isn't that extreme. I would think for the extra cost, the equation would be different, completely changing the solution. Apparently there is no reason to really pay the extra money for the extreme version.

How about the Tess and Tarka? I only have the Marbles versions, and was wondering if it's worth spending more on non-Marbles versions. IF I can find them for sale somewhere at a reasonable price.
