I am having issues with the math the numbers just don't get small enough

I know the ER is Equatorial Radius however taking the Equatorial Radius of each planet / TP = X the numbers are still just so big....

am i missing something ???

Yes you are, use the part of the formula that you did not yet use.

I have opened my hidden compartment and copied down the full equation but don't understand the second line the numbers are too big to correspond to RP?

The second part of the equation will get the numbers down... at least I think I have that right! start adding those numbers

Is the lower part of the equation a programming code?

I don't understand how you can add all of the X's together to get a smaller number. I've scoured the net even searching for the exact equation and nothing comes up even close with having both the seg/add portion. I've also read that someone used an excel spreadsheet, so is this a formula that you can create in excel?

Even the smallest hint would be appreciated. I was a math major, but never had to do code (but then again, that was when Wordstar 1.0 was released. :) )

This is from Puzz himself in another thread:
Ok, need some help?

ER and TP I guess you all know what they mean.

RP = ring position

up arow means rounded up

seq add - (add all numbers together)

(Now I just need to get that dang equation compartment open so I can see the dang equation!!!!)

Heh, having the same problem. I'm trying to listen to the moving parts while "jiggling", it almost seems like it needs more of "shaking" instead, unless I'm incorrect... I think my thumb nail is about to rip off... :lol:
