Equation??????????????

So, I have the equation and have got the preferred ER's from the copernisis site, but the outcome isn't matching any of my clicks. None are even 30 or higher. Did I do it right? TP is obviously a constant 8 and I know how to add so, what's the deal. Also, I am assuming you round to the nearest integer in the units km. Let me know if I'm on the right track or if I missed something. Thanks!

if it were me trying to solve the puzzle, i would try and work out which planets go with which rings, based on ER and TP and knowing total number of clicks per ring and knowing that the smallest ring is only 16 clicks, so if the equation result comes out at 30 then the planet with result 30 can't be smallest ring etc...

Also we have different orbit colours on copernisis website for planets which might correlate with above results.

The rest is easy !

So the equation result has to be equal to or less than the clicks...? that would result in around 1800 possibilities and that's assuming that you count the clicks from the right sides on the first try. Is there any clue that is a little more helpful?

i tried and tried with that equation im having a hard time counting the clicks on my rings its almost like i click one or two then nothing even if i press down on the top plate then it starts clicking again. its driving me nuts ive counted the last ring and the third from the end about a million times and i still cant find a number. its really making me mad...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
