Hi.

As I understand it, there should be some clues to the puzzle box directly on/(in?) the box, but I do not see any? Could it be that the two boxes I have are just the first printing without the clues?

The 'puzzle box' is the black cardboard outer box that the puzzle comes in i.e. four puzzles, one on each side and some sort of clue and free numbers on the flap of the inner cardboard box.

Best of luck with the 'puzzle box' I've looked at it and drawn a blank, then decided that I preferred the mechanical puzzle instead.

I must have an older version of the box. I do not see any numbers on the inside flap of mine. I have to admit I went so far as to cut one of them apart to look.
