Well here is a clue for newbies in USA

quote "I never met a man I didn't like"

I wonder if he would have said the same, to George Michael in this park.

Its a good job Puzz's hiding of the coin wasn't interpretted by an undercover cop as lewd behaviour. Imagine trying to explain that one to the judge :D Good advertising though.

My brother and his son are going to have a look for this one.

However he has said that it is a famous gay hang out and he hopes the coin is not to close to the restrooms!

Went looking for this one this weekend...found Benjamin :D

But no coin :(

Spent a good few hours looking....but without any luck..I hate saying this but is it still there!...is anyone able to check?

Was it placed there by one of the 500?

is "I never met a man I didn't like" the only clue? or is there another reason everyone thinks the George Michael reference is valid..

Other than t3h incident with George Michael of course..

I took time today to check this out to determine once an for all if this is lost, anyone in the know feel free to confirm.

The only clues I started to work with is "I never met a man I didn't like" and the mention of "Benjamin" from this forum. The first quote can be traced to 4 possible locations. 1 in the mountains, 1 by the shore, 1 in the 'hood, and the last in the 'hills.

Image

Reading old Sonic warp press releases helped me deduce this out of the first clue, which was good since I didn't want to get lost in the mountains or shot in the 'hood.

Image

Benjamin was easy to figure out, there are no franklin statues on the state beach and the ficas was so rare it was only in this one location.

the ribbon had a date 3/11/09 and a series of letters and numbers on it. Possibly names or a clue..

and this is where I end my search. It is either lost, or that was another clue, but I'm not climbing a tree 14ft in the air to get an Isis. I'd rather spend the cash & buy one at that point.

Does anyone know if this is still active like it says it is in the listings?

BPShirase, good work on getting as far as you did with the clues. I have been researching this one as well and then thought to look in the forums and found this thread. I have some alternate ideas. I live in Oregon and will be traveling to check on this soon. I have a few (2) different places I want to check that are outside the park as well the ribbon in your picture.

If anyone knows if this one is still active please say so and save me some time.
Thanks.

PS: did some thinking... if the coin has been wedged within a tree's roots/branches since 2009 - it may have been absorbed into the tree itself. That would complicate things.
