OMG, I actually recognise it from a holiday picture I made in 1998 or so. That picture has been hanging on the wal of our house for years, until we moved last month. So now I finished searching all unpacked boxes (of course it was at the bottom of almost the last box)-; and the colors are a perfect match, but my holiday picture is a close up, and the texture does not really match. Maybe I can find the complete photo album tomorrow to see if I made more picturs in that area. My pictures (from 1998) are analog, cannot post them here.

Any joy with your photo album LouIsis?
I found a place in the Lake District which is similar but not found the same picture. Too many doubts, no confirmers.

Nope, the album must be in one of the boxes I already looked in, and I am not going to check them all over again.
If the picture is the place I thought of, the height of the whole picture must be about 4 meters, and we would have walked in to the gorge to the left. After looking at the picture a few more times I don't think it is a match.

I have a strange feeling that this one may be connected to another search clue...
Rocks, grass/moss etc. - all looks quite familiar..............
