I think that's a very sensible sentiment.

In fact, I was just telling Happyhannah this afternoon that I might have looked for the July free ISIS if Pervigilo hadn't found it so quickly, and we agreed that given that the original idea of the free ISIS was for those who might not be able to buy one, we would probably leave it there if we found it, with a note, for someone else to find.

I think this is in North Wales, somewhere on the coast.

Wales is quite popular at the moment.

I was thinking more Scotland (almost) than Wales.

It seems there are a few places it could be, and Wales is certainly a possibility:

His prison and/or burial place is said to be beneath Merlin's Mound at Marlborough College in Marlborough (Wiltshire), at Drumelzier in Tweeddale (Scotland), Bryn Myrddin (Merlin's Hill) near Carmarthen (Wales), Le Tombeau de Merlin (Merlin's Tomb) near Paimpont (Brittany) and Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) off the Lleyn Peninsula (Wales).

As one of the options for Merlin's burial place is Drumelzier in Tweeddale, I thought Berwick-upon-Tweed castle would be worth a look (as it is on the way up the river, and of course by the sea) - that's the picture I posted earlier.

Hope that might help someone, as there's no way I shall get right up there!

A big sorry to evilkeen

Throught that it was Tintagel castle in Cornwall - they look alike going up a hill
What's with the saucepan lid - as Puzz been barbequing, did he camp out here, Looks like Blood on one of the stones! did he kill and cook a rabbit.
This could be very close to July's isis ?

There's a saucepan lid? I didn't notice that

When I came across that picture earlier I thought the little alcove looked very similar, but on closer inspection, the Berwick picture leads to an open area behind, whereas the clue picture is a smaller closed alcove.

Well, given that one possibility is Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) off the Lleyn Peninsula that could easily be the case. Even if it's not on the island, on the way could mean anywhere along the peninsula.
