Are the free isis always so hard to find??!! Worked out the location no probs last night and so today headed north, went up the hill, found the stone with the inscription, matched up the photo and then hunted for 4 hours and found nothing!!! well except for a few spiders who thought it was fun to sit on my shoulder and tease me!
Either someone has already found it or else SW are very very sneaky at hiding! Anyway it was a fantastic day out and we had great fun and the views are incredible up there so anyone thinking of going should give it a go it was well worth the trip even though we didn't find the Isis!

I think the last one was found too fast so now we have to really work for them.
You could be looking for a golf ball, a coin or even a piece of paper, SW doesn

We looked everywhere we were even pulling old dirty straws from in cracks in the rocks to see if there was a note or something in there but still nothing! Yes we were in the lakes which was a good 90 miles from home so we were pretty determined but still found nothing!

They used to hide the actual Isis but one or more went missing so SW now hide

Was there a hiding place in the direction the photo was taken?
We went looking for a free Isis, it was posted on Saturday and we got there at midday on Sunday. It was found early on Sunday morning, so yours could have been found.

i'm guessing it must have been because we ending up looking in a huge circle all the way round the stone not just in the direction of the photo in the end.
My other half was pretty relentless at searching and normally he is pretty good at finding things (well at least he always finds his xmas pressies no matter where i hide them!!) and he couldn't find a thing. He is sulking now though and either wants to go back again tomorrow or else try for the birmingham one instead!!! Not sure I'm fit enough to face another search tommorrow my legs are killing me!!!
It was really busy up there today though with the weather being so good so it could be that someone has already found it.

When folks are saying North... I take it they are refering to South of Carlisle?
