I don't know why but I get the horrible feeling this is gonna be way up north. Would a pointer be too much to ask for Hunter? :P

No its not, I managed to find a picture of it by a bit of creative Googling. The interesting thing is that if you Google its name as listed on an OS map in quotes you only get one page hit which was the page I found it from in the first place.

Too far for me though. Best of luck to the locals.

We went there today and had a good look around. There were a couple of good hidey holes above the door but both were empty :( . We had a good look inside and outside which included all the holes, cracks and crevices. We searched the immediate area which included the flag pole, benches, fences, telescope and the paving but alas nothing :( .

The dog had a fantastic time chasing rabbits :) and nearly went over the edge of the cliff on a few occasions  . The local caf

I've just noticed that there is an active web cam pointing directly at the structure so if its too far to travel you can watch people crawling all over it from the comfort of your own home.

No it only seems to be current-time (updated about every 10 minutes although it claims 30 seconds), no archived images as far as I could tell.
Are you sure there wasn't a length of fishing line tied to the cross ?

No fishing line, I did find a bit of white string tied to a bench but there was nothing on the other end, I tied my hair back with it, it was windy up there and I could see nothing but hair

Just discovered where it is too. But too far for me :(

Have you tried looking out of the windows and is there anything isis like in the distance that it could be hidden in. Dont know what but assume one looks out to sea so it only leaves 2! Try the web cams around the town as they may show some ideas.

Knowing sw they will make it as hard as they can to slow us down on the chase to the hunt :?

Happy hunting.

We looked through the window from the angle the photograph was taken and that is where the dog kept trying her 100 foot nose dive down the cliff. Two sides are open grass land and two sides are cliffs.

We assume Ade hid this one so it could be any where within a four mile radius. It was a fair drive and although it was beautiful there is nothing to inspire us to go again. It

Thats a shame, thought I might have been on to something. Who knows where he might have hidden it. could there be a clue in the history of the tower? It does have its own web site so maybe some cryptic/lateral thinking is needed.

Just been googling again and it says that the tower has been moved from its original site, this seems like de ja vous from the august 1/3 hunt with the electric light

Might just be worth looking into. :?:
