Ah, I should have thought of that. You can even see what type of camera they used. PUZZ's clue makes sense now.

EDIT: linzie, I share your frustration, the only sites I know of are either too far away or require a ferry trip. I'm sure there will be one near me soon. In the meantime, it's fun helping others to find them.

Found the website where the photo is from... way too far from me.

However, what if the photo is the red herring and the trig point is correct...

Skizz, it was more frustrating when we knew where it was, lived close enough to travel to it, went straight to it, visited twice and couldn't find anything and then when it was found it was hidden in the most obvious place it might as well have a neon sign above it!!! :D
Not sure being close by is any less frustrating!!!

Haggis you little devil I'm doubting myself now!!!

Yep, so it looks like the photo is the clue and the trig point is the red herring.
The memorial can be seen on Goole earth... good luck if its hidden in a tree!!!!

Definately one for the SW

I think I've figured it out now. In the south, but no where near me. Oh well, good luck to any searchers.

That picture was poo! :P

When there yesterday but found something funny. There is a flag pole there and placed inside the bottom was a tube. Inside that was Mrs Crays Coin and a logbook. I,ve have taken some photos can someone tell me how to up load them. So I can share them. Is this the red herring. Has anyone been to the trig point yet?

You sure that's not a Geocache given the logbook?

So here are the Pics

The Flag Pole Image
The flag pole is hollow and a great place to hide a coin! :D

I thought I had it when I put my hand up there and felt the tube inside.Image

The top was made of metal and it fitted on to a magnetic stopper in the pole... oh the excitement of finding a Isis... :D

but this is what was inside...

Image

The Bag with the coin in, said that it was Mrs Cray's rats coin..

Are these the red herrings!..

There are so many trees to search you could be there for a week and still not find it, if in fact it is there!

So is Puzz up to his tricks again..

Has anyone been to the Trig point yet?
