finding a coin

Postby colin@tina » Mon May 12, 2008 2:09 pm

Hello all.
Hope you are all well?
We went to london yesterday to see the design show at docklands and while up in london we thought we would go and see if we could find this missing isis as it has been out there so long. As most of you know we are very keen isis hunters having found some before so after the show we set off to the thames to see if we could find this one. After going on the very rough docklands railway we got to Greenwich pier and started watching the thames clipper come and go , a man ask what we were doing and said that we only wanted to get on the Typhoon named boat. He asked why and we just said we liked the name. Well after waiting for over an hour (felt like two) the Thames clipper named Typhoon came in, so we got on and then started to look.
We found something that worked with the clues sat down and there it was THE COIN!! After all this time it was still there!!
Well, fellow hunters this is the best thing for you...IT IS STILL THERE !! We left it there! Go and get it now!
Have fun! We did!
thank you sw

Well done on the find... spirited thing about leaving the coin for someone else to find.

Hi guys and girls!

I've seen the photos and it is still there!

I should have had more confidence in my hiding skills.

Enjoy!

Just spent the last 45 mins re-reading the whole thread. I am debating whether to go down there after work today and wait for the boat. Unfortunatly it is a popular commuting form of transport and a lot of people working in town take the boat home to greenwich and beyond. I have the next hour to make a decision. HHHMMMM!
