kinda yeah

i cant say i know exactly where it is on the boat, but being there i was hoping that maybe some of the riddle would make sense and spark something up as to where the coin is hidden. Even if i didnt find it, i wouldnt have been that gutted as it would have been a day out anyway and not like it was special trip, hoping to go again beginning of next month and take a look if its not found before then.

Als gives me some more time to think about and maybe work out where it is on the boat.

Lodgecrest

I am feeling better than I was - thank you.

I just can't believe my rotten luck as I don't get a lot of time to spare to be able to go off and search -typical!!

never mind, the year is young :)

Hello to everyone

Postby Catzilla » Tue Mar 18, 2008 12:36 pm

Hello all - I've been lurking for a couple weeks since I learned about the Isis, can't believe it took me this long to hear about it! I happened to be in London last week and went to have a look for this one. Like RobNGem, I had no idea where it was specifically, but I was hoping for an aha! moment. Needless to say, no moment came, and once I was there I was too nervous to even have a good look around! Ah well, having a great time with all the different searches, and I just got my Isis open last night, so more puzzles to work on!

"Couldn't wait for the right one" could also mean the right stop while on the boat.. Although to be honest that sounds unlikely. In which case we can assume it is on a boat. Provided it's actually on the Typhoon, we just need to figure what "come forward 4 times" means right?
You guys seem to of checked the 4th seats (and boat, for that matter) etc pretty thoroughly, but that said it seems strange to assume that the last part of this riddle would be straight forward.

Come forward 4 times sounds like line-dancing to me  . I need another paracetamol....

Edit: Forward is actual a term for advancing towards the front of a vessel. This would then clarify the "right". Assuming that was correct, anyone any ideas what "times" could be? Not a clock, as someone already mentioned looking, but perhaps the shape? X

As far as i know each and every boat stops at the same stops as all the others, so wouldnt make sense to wait for a particular one. So it has to be on the boat.

And as someone mentioned before, your not told to disembark.

Yeah I'm with you that it's on the boat... I'm just disheartened that the seasoned pros haven't spotted the rest of the riddle while there.. I have little or no chance!
