Last Time Someone Won Gold!!!!!

Postby matt_p_dales » Thu Aug 06, 2009 11:46 am

I can honestly say with my hand on my heart I cannot remeber the last tme sombody won a Gold coin.

Can anyone else tell me??? I keep my eye on the winners board and since March only 2 new names have gone on to the board and they were Silver winners and myself was one of them.

Also I was the 122 winner, when the name above me was added it went up to 123 but then dropped back down to 122 very strange do you not think!!!!!!

I think it is very sad that that it has slowed down to a point that maybe people are not even trying to solve the riddles anymore and if they are like a lot of people I have spoken to including myself we all get to a stage where it is all very logical until the very end point where it goes off on a compete tangent.

I undestand completely that they are ment to be hard otherwise SW would be giving away £500/$1000 every day. But there is a difference between hard and nearly impossible.

I may not be clever enough to solve one of the riddles even though I do have great fun trying and maybe one day i will !!! But I know there are some very clever people out there working on these riddles one of my friends on this Forum os workinf on the Boston Pyramid who is very inteligant much so more than me and he has no idea and has solved 80% of the riddle and is stuck on the last line like 99% of people out there.

I really want to read a post which some one says Guess what ......... ?????? I solved pyramid xx :D :D

Here is my adventure........

But i really canot see this happening anytime soon.

Please someone solve one of these stupid riddles to give the rest of us some hope because at the minute I am think that that puzzles are doing great and people enjoy solving them but when it comes to the "adventure" i think this has just stopped!!!!

I would like to here other peoples opinions on this maybe it is just me.

There was a mysterious gold winner's name of D. Rainaldi from Torkey (UK) :? that appeared for some time and couldn't be matched to any stories but then it suddenly disappeared. I think that was the cause of the change in the number of winners.

I think the most recent gold winner is the person from the Netherlands towards the top of the list, but I don't recall seeing the story on this forum so not sure when it was found. The next few golds stories are on the forum the most recent being in the USA (Oct 2008). The last UK gold was June 2008.

EDIT: I think the gold in the Netherlands was November 2008

That is correct (sad but true).
Unfortunately the finder never posted his story here or on the other forum. His story was exiting though, including several keys that all failed to open the lock, and finally the helpful owner of Amerone visiting the pyramid location to sort out the key problem. There were several weeks between finding the password and opening the pyramid...
The winner did not reveil the password :( , and the pyramid keeper denies knowlege...

But hold on, it won't be long before someone claims gold on his pyramid...

You see.....

It's just a little bit sad really :(

I do work hard on the pyramids and well....... I am starting to question should i just enjoy the puzzles just for the puzzles now.

I really really want people to solve the riddles even if it is not me !!!!!

Should the riddles be made slighty easier and the reward cut to a smaller amount !!!!!

I would be happy with £100 and still have had to have worked hard to find the password they shouldnt be made easy but possible would be made possible !!!

I am sure someone is going to come on here and say..."well people have solved them so they are possible" but they have got increasingly harded have they not !!!!!!!

I am sorry to moan I really am i love the whole idea but it is slowing down. Last UK winner was over a year ago!!!!!! says something!!!!!

On a good note i really want a KUKU :D :D :D

Someone is trying to PUZZle us over here...

Main forum page states "Congratulations to Josh Stone, the latest pyramid gold coin winner for pyramid 10"

But Bluesign did that over a year ago... http://www.isisadventure.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2163
And J. Stone is not in the winners list (yet?)

Josh, Congratulations! which pyramid did you open?
Did Josh receive gold leven support?
Or is this another D. Rainaldi story?

(good news: platinum has a golden brother)
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Hmm, I'd totally forgotten that it was pyramid 10 that I had solved until LouIsis montioned it.

I thought some pyramids had their coin replenished but I thought that when this happens the riddle is changed too... but this one hasn't :?

So I guess the only possible options are:
1) J. Stone didn't get a gold from pyramid 10 but some other pyramid. If so, well done! Which one though?! :D
2) Pyramid 10 had a new gold at some point, and nobody was told about it, and the riddle wasn't changed :?
3) J. Stone has somehow faked claiming a gold from pyramid 10, and SW haven't noticed that it's already been claimed
4) J. Stone is an imaginary figure used to prove that people are still solving pyramids... but really they're not :(
5) I have (without my knowledge) changed my name via deed poll to J. Stone, and the news is infact >1year old

I feel a poll coming on...

Sort of Option 3, and another striking example of how busy SW is these days, they work so hard that there is no time left to read their own forum for over 3 weeks...

PUZZ wrote:A few weeks a ago we were contacted by the Treasure Park in Cornwall about a potential winner of the gold coin, all appeared in order and we asked for the pyramid to be returned to us for validation of sight of the gold coin and to refit the lock as the pyramid was an old pyramid and needed updating and the claimant J. Stone was dissapointed he couldnt open the pyramid with his key.

The pyramid was returned today and on opening the pyramid the GOLD coin was GONE !

On checking the forum we found that the gold coin had been claimed in June 2008 by bluesign2k with photo's and the full pyramid password on display.

We contacted Mr. Stone who was obviously dissapointed, but his adventure is far from over as there are many more pyramids out there with gold coins that he can go for. He is now aware of the forum and the pyramids that have had gold coins won already, so he wont be making the same mistake twice !

We have offered Mr Stone a silver coin worth £25.00 and so far he has not accepted this offer.

As Puzz's post explains, it would appear that option 3 was the most accurate, although I wouldn't like to say whether or not anyone is trying to pull a fast one.
It would appear that its one of those cases where someone has selected a pyramid but not checked the forum to see if it's been solved :?

Ooh well spotted! I think that must be quite new. The last time there was an online password guess at any of the three Denmark pyramids was July it seems, so that doesn't give much clue. Anyone out there who can check them out in person??

Can't find anything about any of the Denmark pyramids in this section of the forum either, but mind you it needs a bit of a sort out like I've already done for the free Isis search - job for Christmas hols! :)
