I agree with you Sue, it is frustrating that you have to pay a fiver a go ... but I appreciate also that SW have to make money to fund the prize.
How about if we compromise with them ..... a fiver for your first go, and one pound for your second attempt, as long as it is used within that week.
Works out at 3 quid a go .... i wouldn't mind paying that.
It might encourage more to take advantage of this second attempt if this were the case. I tend to give it a rest for a while when I have submitted an incorrect password, but I would be more inclined to get straight back into it, so not to waste my second chance for just a quid.
Might be something to think about SW !!

I agree with Rusty. Every guess should be free but limited to one every three days or so.
As I recall it, the password checker was introduced to make it fairer for those that lived in areas where no pyramids were placed (or unlikely to be placed). I agree that the cost of introducing this utility may not have been budgeted for initially by SW but surely its paid for itself by now.
Obviously I am not privvy to the SW Business Plan but I wouldnt mind betting that it's the sale of puzzles that fund the number of pyramids placed (and subsequent

its a business at the end of the day, and as long as people are daft enough to pay, they will still charge! Its still pretty gay tho...

I really wish the password checker was cheaper.
I bought two guesses for the pyramid I'm trying for and neither were right.... now I've pretty much given up because even if I'm *sure* the password is right I really don't want to pay another

Thanks for listening to our comments. Maybe if you find a dramatic increase in guesses, you will consider leaving it at 2.50 !!!

Much more reasonable. Hopefully it will encourage more enthusiasm in the adventure which is both good for your business and our morale!

Excellent, may purchase a couple of credits. After all, every time I think I have the answer it appears that I am sadly mistaken.
