How many pyramids?

Having recently unlocked my ISIS, I am confused by the number of pyramids - the front page of the website says there are 19, but the map and list have 22 (incuding 5 virtual ones). The front page also says there are 14 gold coins available, suggesting that 5 have already gone. Do these numbers include the USA ones? Either way the number seems wrong. Can anyone clarify please?

The numbers on the front page don't always tally up, unfortunately. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

The Gold count has changed from 14 down to 13 today. Has another been found today (or over the holidays) or is the change simply a correction to the front page?

Well the Gold count has now changed to 16, which is either a serious correction, or have some gold coins been replaced! The Pyramid count is still 19, whereas the map and list have 18 (not including the virtual pyramids).

So nearly all pyramids have Gold?!
I guess I'd better start looking again...

mmm confusing...
Currently (8th Jan pm):
UK Pyramids = 12 (including the Riddle of the Kings Gold)
Europe = 6
USA (virtual pyramids) = 5
Total = 23
So by my calculations if the figures are correct and there are 16 Gold coins still available, then 7 Pyramids have lost their Gold.
I can recall 3 of the currect UK Pyramids which have released their Gold and only 1 European pyramid. However I was under the impression that when a virtual pyramid (USA) is solved it is removed from the display.
So, if thats correct, then 3 more golds have been claimed in the UK and/or Europe which I am not aware of????
Am I missing something?

I was assuming that the figure of 19 pyramids did not include the USA ones anyway, as it is a lot closer to 18 than 23! Correct me if I'm wrong someone ...

It gets even more confusing now gold coins are hidden in pyramids but also as a free hunt . . .
The figures seem to be as meaningful as PUZZ's clues.

So how do we know where gold coins in the free hunt are? ... or don't we?

It is simple,
just read Puzz's clues,
then go and find them,
how hard can it be.

Yes, well I know it's really simple to follow Puzz's clues
But do we know which free searchs will lead to gold rather than silver??

Ok, ignore my above post - I managed to confuse the whole issue and myself too...
Let's try again!

I thought that the gold coins from the free search were different from the pyramid golds. A gold coin in a pyramid is worth

Today the pyramid count is still 19, but the gold count has gone up from 16 to 17! Does that mean another one has been replaced???
