Hi Sanderman,

It is extremely rare that we ask people to stop conversations. The conversation in the NWP thread had just reached a stalemate, neither side was going to back down and the conversation was starting to get unfriendly. I didn't want a war breaking out, so I asked people to stop. When it continued, I locked the thread. As far as I'm aware the NWP is the only thread on here that has ever been locked for that reason. We want people to be able to speak out on here, and I think it's valuable for SW to see how people react to changes that they make, but we don't want to people arguing and being abusive, this is generally a happy, fun and friendly forum and we'd like to keep it that way :)

No, we're not going to shout at you , besides, I don't think this has gone off topic exactly, the pyramid map has now gone to those who don't subscribe, and you are talking about the subscriptions, so I personally don't think this topic needs to be split. But if anyone disagrees, I can split it.

I am not connected to SW in any way at all; I am just the same as you, an adventurer.
The only difference I can see is that we have different opinions,
But isn't it good that we do, if we all thought the same, Puzz would have think up ways to make the riddles a lot harder :(

As for the F1 comparison, it maybe is not the best example but they are renowned for changing the rules, in the name of progress,
We are discussing the Isis adventure here, it has no real comparisons that I know of, it is unique, I think it is great and I don't want to see it fail.

Agreed, this is indeed a unique product/concept/experience. And it would be very disappointing if everything would come to an end before isis V.
I still have my doubts (to say the least) about effectiveness of the new/extra needed subscription. Aren't you scaring off new customers? Maybe not because they didn't know how things were in the past, but I'm afraid you will be upsetting current adventurers so much that they will stop buying new products.
And that' is exactly what I think is one of the major strong points of SW. The power to get customers "hooked" (no negativity intended) and to keep making profit of them. I'm afraid the subscription might endanger that strong point. I know for sure that I am a lot less likely to buy a Ramisis (sorry, but I'm not going to lie about that) because of this. Again not because of the money, but I'm a man of principles..

By the way (sorry, really offtopic now, but if there are financial problems it might be worth considering and I just want to have mentioned it ;)), have you guys (SW) ever thought about putting puzzles on the market without an adventure linked to it? For example an ISIS with no codes, no key, if you open it... Well, it's open... And you can close it again, give it to friends to see if they can open it... Etcetera. You could propably put it on the market for a lower price (no costs for the adventure and administration and so on involved) and in that way reach more people (who don't care at all about the adventure after you open it).
