As far as I am aware, the only thing stopping you from entering the platinum pyramid competition is if you were to win, or have previously won, an award with your ISIS or Ramisis.

I might be wrong here but the way I assumed it would be done is that the pyramid would be an ISIS pyramid, hence why it only mentions that the ISIS cant have a coin registered against it... because as soon as you solve it you can no longer see the pyramid map.
Also, there is no mention if the Ramisis has to be solved or not, or whether you can have claimed a prize on the Ramisis (though I don't think anyone is goning to do that anytime soon)

hmmm, looking back over it, your right, it doesn't mention anything about claiming a prize with the Ramisis, it just states that you must own a Ramisis! I'll check with Puzz,

I've checked with Puzz, Bluesign2k is correct To take part in the platinum pyramid, you need to have an ISIS that doesn't have a prize registered against it, you also need to own a Ramisis, but it doesn't matter if you have claimed a prize with the Ramisis or not

I remember this but have just realised that I don't think we ever had an explanation posted fro anyone. Am I right in saying it was never solved and then withdrawn? If so, the question is "will it put back up? and if not, can we have the answer? I did some research on it and recall I got to some Superman connections, Mount Erebus and Wilson Terrain but never connected it up for a reasonable password guess. Anyone care to discuss?

In light of recent communications from SW saying that they needed £2 a month from us to just keep it going, I think that offering a £10 000 reward for a pyramid only suggests that it will NOT be solvable unless someone gets REALLY lucky. And if they do and Sonicwarp have to pay out £10 000, where will that leave them? Considering what they've been saying recently (particularly involving their accountants!), they must be pretty damn sure that no-one is going to get this.

I, too, would prefer to see more normal pyramids. Any chance of them changing their minds, do you think?

I COMPLETELY agree. I'd rather see more pyramids than a nigh on impossible £10,000 which I think would hurt SW if they had to give away....

P.S Seen as many of us are giving £20 a year/£2 a month, I think that we should have a say in this.... Power to the people and all that....

are you kidding they can afford it at about 200 hundred dollars per puzzle all they need is 7 buyers and they are golden. Mind you not taking into account the fact that developing next years puzzles. I'd rather have the 10,000 pound pyramid becuase once you succeed at one of the regular pyramids whether gold or silver aren't you locked out from the map? This might be a stupid question but i'm still pretty new one the open puzzle side of the forum.I am saying this becaus eI am waiting for the 4 days remaining.

No, you don't. You need to own an Isis and a Ramisis. The Isis must be open, but the Ramisis doesn't need to be open.

Well, almost then... I was assuming too much when I logged on with my account that owns only Isis1, I could see the page but not the riddle because that account did not own a Ramisis.
After logging on with another account that does own a Ramisis, the riddle text was still not there, it states it is not available until the 4th April 2009.
Just an hour to go... or 2 hours if it's UK time?... Hmmm, the countdown says 3 hours... I'm lost, not going to wait 3 hours.

Well i have both an Isis with no prize attached to it and a Ramisis yet i still cant see the clue. Got excited when i realised i was working nights when this thing started. I thought, all night to work on it in works time!!

Cant see it though just says not available till the 4th?

right im gona try not to reveal too much on here but ive been able to see what you need to do and ive followed the instructions so far, my question is do i have to wait untill a woking day as obviously no one is at home on a weekend? im waiting for access to the 5% club where i hope i can be a bit more open with my words!!!
