Help with my Isis orb please

Hello,
I’m new to this forum and complex Puzzles in general, I could do with some help please.
I purchased a used Isis orb in 2015 and played around with it for a while but got nowhere with it so put it away until now.
On trying again to open it I’ve realised that it’s probably been put together incorrectly. The two symbols on the body between the blue rings don’t match up, I’ve also noticed there’s a lot of extra noise inside from the metal part moving around inside and I’ve also realised this is blocking the plunger pin from moving sometimes when at first I thought I’d got the ball in place in the centre. I also suspected I have stuck ball bearings or possibly missing some as I can’t hear them. Is my puzzle now trash or could it be fixed?
Any help would be gratefully received as I have spent hours trying to open it, I’ve tried the tips on YouTube and had no success, I also think my orb is a later one as it doesn’t have Isis 1 written on the wooden box and has a clasp rather than a push button to open it.
Thanks,
Nick.
