The Isis Adventure

I bought a marbles edition Orb (I work at marbles the brain store). I got it open, but now I have a big problem.

I was very proud of myself, and showed it to my younger sister, who promptly dropped the ball bearing into the lower half of the puzzle and closed it. I do have the key itself out.

Now, it will not open at all, although the plunger works. (It's effectively dead-bolted shut.)

What do I do?

Actually you should be okay I think. Before I say more, I realize I should send you a pm because I can't give away too much on the open forums. I'll work.that up now.

Update.

It's solved. Andrew (Puzz) walked me through it. I'm going to join the 5% club now!

BTW, I work in marbles the brain store, and we have them. So we get a few clues here and theere on how to do it.

Now, how do I close it? (In plain english, the website's instructions are like reading "routine active maintenance"

I sent you pm but the 5% club will give you a lot more detail because the internals of the puzzle are discussed in depth there.

Yeah, I have the picture to prove I belong (I PM'd it to the gatekeeper admin), now I have to wait for evilkeen to get around to letting me in

BTW, I was amazed how much "implicit eleventh clue" I had to do to get it to work.
