hi does the color of the rings and the color of the ball make any difference to the solving of the puzzle?

Nope. The color makes no difference. The only time it could sort of matter is that the color of the Isis is a different model and contains differences on the internal mechanisms.

For example the extreme Isis or devil Isis is harder to solve than the original. There are several color variations if the original and the other versions but the differences lie on the inside of the puzzle.
