The Isis Adventure

This seems to always happen when I work on puzzles like this.

I got the titanium and blue isis as a Christmas gift. Spent Christmas day decoding the 10 clues. Pretty easy. Also researched the hieroglyphics.

Found out about the mysterious 11th clue yesterday. Not knowing any better, I started applying the 11th clue at various stages. Ultimately, I unlocked the isis using clue 8, clue 11, and obviously clue 10. Never successfully executed clue 3. Never used the plunger for anything. I was so confused when it opened - my accidental shortcut left me with absolutely no concept of how the thing works.

Anyone else have a similar experience? Kind of disappointed that the isis can be opened so simply, and accidentally at that. Happy I got it open and found a key, but I'd expect such an expensive puzzle to have a single, rather complicated solution.

I too bought 3 puzzles for Christmas for my 3 sons. I sat down with the Tessarisis and before I even got started I twisted it and it opened. 3 minutes max. I though it must be broken. My son who just turned 11 picked up his Ramisis in black and gold and started twisting and turning and flipping and in 10 minutes the key flew out. I am stuck on my Isis extreme though. I have all the steps I think but no luck. I just found out there are clues to open the puzzles. That makes it even worse that two puzzles opened without and clues at all. I wonder if your 11th clue would help me? Where do I find 11th clue?
