Question about Isis versions?

My apologies as I am most certain that this topic has been discussed elsewhere but I am have difficulty with the forum’s search function because the term “G2” is automatically ignored.

I am new to the world of the Isis Adventure and I am interested in purchasing an Isis but would like to know what the difference is between the G2 and the original models? Is the G2 more difficult or is it simply an improved lock design?

Are there functional and / or difficulty differences between the colors of the models or are they purely aesthetic?

I found an economically priced titanium and silver model for sale here: http://www.seriouspuzzles.com/i9725.asp, but I do not see this model listed here: http://www.sonicgames-uk.com/isis-adven ... uzzles/4/1 and want to be sure of what I’m purchasing.

I would prefer a “standard” level of difficulty as opposed to the “extreme” models and the retailers here in the States are not descriptive of the model differences.

That's a very good point, the forum search faciility is set by default to words of minimum length 3. If have now altered that to 2, so you can now search for 'G2'.

What version is a Titanium and Blue Marbles USA ISIS? I received mine yestrday and managed to get it open by lunch today. YAY! Now I can't get the lock to sit right so I can re-assemble it.
