Second hand Isis - issues?

I have seen a 2nd hand Isis which could be our first one - it has been solved but the person is selling with the key, they have registered but not claimed pyramid. Would we be able to use ourselves and re-register or is it best to get brand new? We would like to collect the current 3 with outlook to the other later in the year to then get the fifth

There answer:
Yes I registered with 'www.isisadventure.co.uk' but have not entered the 'key' no. yet to locate pyramid. The 'key' is related to the puzzle as there is a number on the outside and a number on the inside when solved. I think even if you solve and collect all five keys, it does not guarantee the keys will open the very final puzzle. I still have the email from 'sonic-warp' I sent back in 2007 when requesting the key. Not sure if transferable - probably not, but I should imagine since you have the puzzle and corresponding key you could re-register the details.

Yes you can re-register a previously owned puzzle.

However, you would need to be a member of the Isis Adventure website (annual cost of £25) in order for them to allow you to re-register.

If you buy a new puzzle you get one years membership when you register the new puzzle.

I know because I bought my first Isis on E-Bay, but couldn't register it until I bought a Ramisis and had the free membership that came with that.

Hope this helps.
