How long did it take you to open your ISIS?

Hi All,

Just wondering what the average opening time for the ISIS is?

The first time i did it ,it was about three months,with occasional periods of two weeks that i didn't even look at it.
I must say that when i finally came round to thinking more about the hints, it came open really fast.
And now if i do it good i can do it in under a minute.
By the way wat does it mean on the isis hom-page :11 treasure searches.
Is this something new or are they the former free searches.

Yes those are the former free searches.
You know this number is incorrect now, according to the list on the uk site all NL, BE, and DE searches have been found in the last 2 weeks
Luckily , that is untrue.

Back to the topic: opening my first Isis took about 5 minutes, and I still pity that experience
Opening my 4th Isis (titanium) took the longest, about an hour, it had a nasty five inside...

Now this poll will be interesting, I was a late comer to the adventure and a lot of stuff was already available "Hints" and stuff saying that I have opened my Ramisis

I opened my Isis within a week would have been longer without some of the hints

I opened my ISIS in 6 days, I've spent many more hours on my Ramisis, but I haven't even reached the first stage as yet!!! I'm at the 2 month mark with it already!! Well, I guess as long as I open it before ISIS V, when I'll need the key, I'll be okay Although not being able to access part of the forum (Ramisis 5% club) is really starting to bug me lol

I think mine was maybe 2 weeks in before it opened by accident lol I know I made posts on it just to lazy to dig em up to find an exact date

Hey I remember it well ...

It was a year ago, just before Christmas, when my ISIS arrived. I opened it, played with it, did all the things I knew I was supposed to do with it, but ... nothing.

But the next day ... hey presto ... it opened.

However, I have to say, that opening it within 2 days was a bit of a fluke really, as by that time I had already spent a lot of time with HappyHannah's ISIS and had discussed it a lot with her (although her's, having been open once, was in a rebellious non-opening mood at that stage ), so I knew pretty much what I needed to do even if I had been kept at a respectable distance until then .

If I had been doing it from scratch, goodness knows how long it would have taken ...

hahahhaha i cussed that thing bad..rough one


it took me awhile...i handled my first isis like a rare treasure...it was so beautiful..so finely made...feeling the hyroglyphs like they must have been etched into the metal by God himself...i would sit holding the isis ,daydreaming that it was the only one that existed...making up stories in my mind of how I aquired the Isis.(wearing a fedora and carrying a whip of course)...knowing the creator had only one design ..but in my mind i had several possible designs..so i knew i would eventually get into it....i had no idea at the time though that the creator knew a thing or two about human nature..what i knew about mechanisms far exceeded my knowledge of what would keep me out...how could the creator know me better than i knew myself?
i have said it before ...this puzzle is genius....like all magic tricks..it seems simple AFTER you know the solution and can perform it cofidently.
just like the pyramid riddles..it takes a leap of faith....I LOVE THE ISIS 1 !!!

i clicked "1 week"...it took me several days to "just let go" of my preconceived ideas and follow the provided clues

Mine is still as a whole, how easy is this thing? Mine is still unopened. I think Karen started this post because of me , no seriously...... I am pretty sure.

Probably no more that 20 hours' time over a period of about a month. I think the Ramisi5 took several more hours but I played with it more frequently so did it also in about a month.

I managed to Fluuke(sp) an Opening in a few days. I was dissapointed and my mom who bought it for me for My Birthday/Christmass gift wassent too happy. I resealed it Right away and Tried the exact things I had been doing and nothing. It took me a month Till I Stumble on a second way of opening it. It was a "ooo Is it... It 's opening.... Yes!!!!!" Moment to say the least lol. I was so excited Im Juggling some bills and Scrimping on food so I can buy The RAMISIS at months end. Im So stoked about it.

cool story..welcome to the forum....the ramisis is stumping some of the best puzzle minds on the forum...you will love it!
