Ok, so I see the advert at the top of the forum has finally changed to . . . The Eagle Isis :D

For sure it's a tempting offer at

Where did you find the Eagle Isis? When I click on the ad I just get the regular shop page.

What's special about the Eagle? And why is it cheaper than a normal Isis???

Edit:

Now I get the proper page.

So, apart from the eagle symbol, what's special about it? It says that it's their most popular puzzle, but what IS it?

I don't think there's anything "special" about them as such.
I think they're just normal limited edition ISIS (ie. just in different colours to the standard ISIS 1), and cheaper :D

I really like the purple and gold one, it is a great price, and I really want one.. but if I buy it I'd have 5 ISIS I's!!
If I keep going like this for ISIS II and up, I'll have 25 ISIS by the time the ISIS V limited editions are released, and I think Roger will strangle me!

Doh! I don't know what to do! :?

Aren't these the Sharper Image color schemes? Perhaps now that Sharper Image is pretty much going out of business (they have closed most of their stores already) SW is dumping unshipped stock by stamping an eagle on them and calling them a special edition.

Very tempting for the price...

they do indeed appear to be sharper image isis's...i have a titanium and silver one ,it is very nice looking..i "personally" think that other scheme is the most unattractive one i have seen but to each their own..i assume the reason the photo on their page is blurry around the box is because they say "the sharper image" on them...if i lived in london they would be awsome..i will also be waiting for the isis2,but i would be very happy to pay that price to get started if i did not already have 2 :D
i actually hoped my TSI isis would increase in future value due to their economic stumble...but i am all for SW making money ,after all, an adventure needs funding :D

The only difference that I can see is that you need a pretty girl to levitate it for you, this may aid its opening it may not, but is the girl included in the price?

my first thought was "what a confusing name for the NK2!", until the image showed up...

from http://www.isisadventure.co.uk/eagle I understand these are TSI-like Isis(Ises?) indeed.
The Eagle Isis (once opened) provides acces to an Award Zone, where you can win 'a fantastic prize'.
Simply select a mystery prize to reveal a hidden clue. If you are the first person to solve the clue, you will win the mystery prize.

But it also states:
As an Eagle Isis owner, you are also eligable to enter the Global Isis Adventure.
You can log into the Global Isis Adventure website using your existing username & password.

No word about a key or pyramids though . . .

This is truly SW-like, it's a puzzle to understand what the puzzle is about.
