just a bit of a hit for taking photos of a isis.....

switch the flash off.... and take the pic in a well lit room....
you will get more detail and no reflection from the flash !!!!

Yeh, thats what I tried first of all... unfortunately though my house is full of those energy saving bulbs which are great at saving energy/money but a waste of time at emitting any decent amount of light... so I didn't have much choice

Just a quck question, being pretty new to this I have never owned a limited edition isis, do you still get clues provided with them or are the ones from the normal isis of any use??

Wow, trying to get a 1C is quite the adventure in itself. I found out that my cell phone service doesn't have international calling so I'm stuck trying to make the deal through email. I did get an email stating that they do have one left (and quoted me a price) so I responded with my shipping address saying that I do want it and can pay through email with a credit card or theough PayPal. That's where I'm at so far in my quest for a 1C. Wish me luck

A "standard" limited edition Isis has no difference other than the colour, for the 1A, B, and C PUZZ has added a few more tricks to the mechanism.

With any new Isis (I believe) the clues are not provided in the box, you download them when you register them.
Being that the serials are the same as for a standard Isis the same clue book is available. Much of the clue book still applies, at least it does for the 1A, B and my original C - I've heard PUZZ has added yet another trick to the 1C.

If you've opened a standard Isis then it should give you some insight as to what you need to do... not that that means you'll be able to open it as easily

-you get to see what special mod PUZZ has thought up this time
-respect from the other 1C owners who are busy bashing their 1C on the floor and banging their head on the wall because they still haven't opened theirs yet

I got mine a little while ago, and yes I have opened it BUT it is different to the current ones.

Mine is the one that PUZZ mentioned on the 1st page of this thread that needs further modification to bring it to the same spec as the others... so I guess the real answer is no I haven't opened a 1C that is at the latest spec... yet

Mine is currently somewhere within royal mail postal system on its way back to SW to get it's FREE (cheers PUZZ ) upgrade
