trouble with isis

I'm having terrible problems with my Isis after resetting it. My placentas aren't actually a straight line, they are slightly off. So the middle of one lines up with the outter edge of the other. Is it stuck and unsolvable now? Please help!!

Couple of suggestions:

Just try and twist them back in line; knowing how it actually locks this should be possible!! If the placentas are not aligned then the lock should not be engaged!!!!
I dont want you to break your puzzle so give it a good twist if it does not align and lock then you need to unlock it again and then they should twist with out any ease at all.

There are other things you can do but if you still cant fix it I will take you through another soloution!!

I've tried just twisting it but it is locked. It did this the first time I solved it, but it started out aligned. This time it had been unaligned the whole time and I can't tell if bb3 has/can drop(ped) so I can't solve it for sure.
