New isisadventurer, some questions...

Postby Flo » Mon Dec 26, 2011 3:28 pm

Hello,

I'm new here (I posted in another topic in order to introduce myself, but for those who have not seen it: I'm french, so excuse me in advance for my broken english).

It's been 4 or 5 weeks till I received my Isis. I have some questions, which have probably been asked before, but I found no precise answer in the forum, although I have searched attentively.

1) I tried to follow the clues. I'm at a point where my isis is silent. I can't do anything on it, except turn the rings. Many times it went silent during the manipulations but this time it's completely quiet! Did I broke it? (I have to confess I shook it and it slipped out of my hands and rolled on the ground, but it became silent 2 days after this incident, so I don't believe there is any connection). I hear nothing since last week. I saw that this question is reccurrent on this forum, but the answers are: "read the clues". I read the clues, if my isis is not broken, I may open it soon, if I understand the clues properly.

I am on the right way or is my isis broken?

2) After spending many hours on the web with the object of understanding the pictures on the box, I read on the forum that the box is another puzzle. Could you confirm that isis can be solved without it?

3) Is my isis waterproof?

4) If I manage to open it, is there any pyramid in France or in Belgium? (Don't answer if it's a secret I have to find by myself)

5) This morning I found on the web the clues in english, I deciphered them and the #4 doesn't say the same thing than my 4th clue (in french).(If my isis is silent, I suppose I'm at the number 8, so it may have no importance... but it may be important however)

6) is there a french forum somewhere? (it takes me almost 1 hour to write this post  ... )

Thank you for the answers / for reading ;)
Please, forgive my broken English: I'm french ;)

It is unlikely that you have broken it, but are sure it is silent all the time? or does it depend on what you do to it?

Yes

Flo wrote:3) Is my isis waterproof?

I doubt it very much

You'll find out when you open it :-)

No longer I'm afraid, but if there is anyone here who can converse in French (not me unfortunatekly) you are welcome to do that.

Yes, if there is anybody speaking french... you're welcome ;)

Yes, I'm sure it's silent all the time now, whatever I do to it, even if I shake it (I don't dare to apply the 11th clue one more time now it is totally silent, I'm afraid to reset it). At the beginning, it became sometimes silent when I manipulated it, but after trying the 11th clue roughly, then the 5th it became completely silent (I'm not sure of the 6th: it happens but only for a while, then it came back to the initial position).

I have little hands and it's difficult for me to apply the 9th clue (my finger's hurting ;) )

So, am I on the right way? Can I go back? Could it reset by itself, by accident?
Please, forgive my broken English: I'm french ;)
