Mine is the same.

I can get mine to 90 degrees however it wont go any further. Have been told of a method of releasing it however i haven't got it to work yet.

ISIS Puzzle Stuck

Good news... after 7 years I was able to get my puzzle back to its closed position. However in the process I think one of the bb has jumped track and now unable to open it... however I am now able to drop the bb down into the puzzle and get it back to click the lock
