Don't think I can justify buying another one though... 6 ISIS is enough for any man me thinks

I dont think thats the KUKU, I feel like thats just more isis's for actual collectors, I have a feeling the KUKU will hopefully be something entirely different. Plus I dont think Puzz would bother advertising an Isis with his signature on it.

A couple of weeks ago, I passed by the Amerone office (the distributor of SW stuff for the European continent) and while talking about the Isis and stuff, Mike showed me 2 objects SW is working on: a ball and a cube. Both were fairly small, compared to Isis 1 & 2 (about 4 cm in height, I believe) and both were made of metal. They seem to be made up of separate parts and each part has a color. I didn't hold one in my hand, so can't tell you how it feels or how heavy it is (hollow/full?), but they were at least aesthetically pleasing
Can't tell you though which one might be the Kuku (Mike told me, I'm sure, but I forgot... Sorry... My feeble excuse is that I was looking too intently at the objects, while trying not to drool, and was bugged a bit that they weren't for sale yet, to make a mental note when he mentioned their respective names... )
Mike also told me, however, that the manufacturing process is apparently quite difficult (and expensive) and that SW was still looking for alternatives (other production methods, other materials, ...) to keep the price of the end-product down to a reasonable level...
So, I guess, as soon as they have found a solution to this, we will be seeing the end-result appear in their webshop

What I'm wondering, though, is whether there will also be an additional game attached to these new products, as the volume of these puzzles seems to be rather small to engrave a code, or something similar, into it... I guess we'll know when SW releases them (perhaps the final versions will be a bit larger and Mike's versions were just for demo only...)

Moderators, if this post contains too much confidential info, my sincerest apologies and I won't do it again (and you'll edit/delete, I'm sure). But I noticed there's a lot of interest within the forum for any news about new SW products, so I just wanted to share the little bit I have... I certainly hope Mike doesn't get into trouble for showing these objects, as he's just trying to keep the interest from puzzlers/adventurers/customers going as much as possible. Which I'm sure, when reading some of the comments on this forum, is sometimes challenging. Personally, as a new Isis puzzler, I can't complain, as I've always received info and support without too much delay, but I can understand for others, who've been in this game for some years already, patience (for new releases) is sometimes wearing thin...

And sorry for the long ramble...

If I remember correctly the Kuku is the cube shaped one... no idea what the ball shaped one is... maybe an Isis thats gone through the tumble dryer one too many times???

Both of these were at the Ramisis launch at Hamilys, and they did look very cool. The Cube one wasn't opened and the Ball one was so I do know what was inside  8) , from memory they were in the gold and blue colours of the original isis 1.

I for one will be getting one if and when they are ready. :)

I found this goodlooking cube shaped puzzle on the (great) puzzlemaster.ca website:
Image(image and this text are hyperlink)
Maybe it's a KuKu (or the other one if the KuKu is the marble) trainer... so I ordered it :D .
While I was at it, I also ordered the brass treasure chest(finally!), cast equa, iso crate, lucky clover, and cube puzzle.
Luckily I found a 10% discount coupon onine ("APR99", valid until today, but worth a try tomorrow 8) )

Hmmm, I see my puzzle interest has shifted to metal ones, how come?
