Started trying to open it Tuesday evening, then Wednesday evening and then spent quite a while last night before it was open.

Puzz is right about re-assembly - this is the real challenge!!!

Haven't spent any time on the Vault yet but hope to over the weekend.

Hope you get yours soon, it's a great little puzzle.

The Kuku is the most challenging puzzle that I have come across to date.
The main problem that I am having is due to its size, I unfortunate have arthritis in my fingers,
This makes the Kuku quite to hold and even harder try to manipulate.
I refuse to be beaten; it just might take a little longer as I have no way of fabricating a holding device,
About ten minutes at a time is all I can manage,
But no pain no gain; even if I don't manage to open it I am not too bothered as it is a beautiful object,
It is a perfect companion for the other puzzles on the puzzle shelf.

Have now managed to re-assemble and dis-assemble 4 times now - but haven't managed to re-assemble fully locked yet Any luck with this yet?

OK - Kuku now fully locked again - back to square one..................

for the record:SW i really like the packaging of the KUKU..very interesting!....
i do hope Isis 1-5 come in the wooden boxes,but this is really cool for the Kuku!
