What did I do?

Hi, I'm a new Isis owner, and I'm very excited to undertake this challenge. When I received my Isis last week I could heard a bearing rolling around inside. I decrypted the ten clues, and after a week of non-stop rolling, plunging, and clicking, I hadn't made any perceivable progress. Today I came across this subject of the 11th clue on the forums here. Excitedly I gave my Isis a universe-starter and immediately after the sphere was completely silent. The slight wiggle between the top and bottom halves was gone and the rings are somewhat harder to turn now. I did it again and heard a click of what I suspect is another bearing, but I am concerned that I've made an unrecoverable mistake by prematurely performing the 11th clue. A little reassurance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Haggard, and welcome to the forum.
Reassurance is hereby granted.
With Isis 1 you are extremely unlikely to make an unrecoverable mistake (before opening it).
It
sounds
like you are on the right track.
Please keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks for the reassurance. So to sum up, it's perfectly normal to not hear the bearings rolling around that I could hear from the start, after I create a universe. Thanks again!

Ok, Status update. I believe I have reached the halfway stage according to the clues, but I cannot hear anything at all. The placentas which were perfectly in line are now offset by about 1 mm, and have been since the first time I created a universe. Please I need more reassurance!

By performing the 11th clue, did you use a book or .. ? Cos I've already performed that clue for over 20 times in every possible way ( so I think ) and there is still no 3rd BB

I've since opened the Isis. Mine required slight "mechanical agitation" as the first bearing was stuck. And no, I only had two in mine.

I recommend a good couch to sit in when opening the isis, when you get tired of it and get a little frustrated you call allways depend on a good armrest to get rid of the tension.
With a new nice pint of lager if possible
