AARRRGGGHHH!!!! This is killing me!!!

Postby knotron » Tue May 06, 2008 4:13 pm

This thing is so frustrating. Someone on these forums wondered if it would go through a plaster wall. Well its gone through my laminate flooring (there goes the deposit, maybe i can hide it from the Land lord). I am also finding it hard to type as my thumbs are killing me!!!!!!

Opening the Isis

Go Knotron, you can do it.
Tell the landlord you're worried about subsidence as there are large holes appearing in the floor

One worries about the Force that was in use at the point of impact on the floor for a 1kg sphere to smash through an 8mm - 12mm MDF board with Cellulose top coat.

As ever... the Yellow Pages is always recommended in the early stages of opening an Isis.

Perhaps knotron put rusty's "dont tap it, whack it" theory into practice a little too hard
Tell the landlord it was all rusty's fault :P

He's only gone and done it.
I got a little telling off at work for playing with my Isis. So I put it away until I got home. Had dinner and walked the dog and started on it about half seven. A few minutes before midnight it opened. I cheered for joy and scared the dog.
As for my floor, the landlord got it cheap and its not very good stuff. it bubbles up in the middle of the room, now its cracked. Oh well!!!
