i twist them in opposite directions so i cant see the difference. i can turn the top half colockwise about 3mm but it just clicks and i cant do anything untill i turn it back the other way.
anyone have any idea if should send it off to be fixed or something?

twist the opposit way to thew direction it moves approx 3 mm.....

twisting the bottom half clockwise is the same as twisting the top anti-clockwise....

remember one of the clues "isis is a multi-dimentional puzzle".... it all depends which way up you have it for the clockwise direction to be correct.....

also, are you sure you are at halfway.... the plunger sometimes sticks a little.... mine did this but a little wd40 got me past the fake halfway stage

Even if you are at the halfway stage, there is still more to do - read the clues.

I spent ages at the last stage and it was really infuriating until i realised that i was twisting in the wrong direction, but i had been twisting (the wrong way) with such force that it was initially just as hard to twist it the right way.

Persevere and you will be rewarded!
