Clue help and progress on solving the Isis

Yet another newbie!

Nothing like the holidays to torture your loved ones with an Isis.

While I know that your answers to newcomer like myself's questions are going to be just as cryptic as the Isis itself, I suppose they're worth asking ;D To begin with, here's my progress as of today:

Day one: finished decoding the clues
Day two: destroyed thumb and knuckles trying to get somewhere
Day three: resort to an online forum to get help with this ungodly puzzle :|

Now the questions. One, I've read a lot about this "eleventh clue", but I've yet to find it printed anywhere else but on this forum. Yes, I've decoded the glyphs on the box, and to my understanding of it, it isn't anything like what you guys are saying the clue is. Where did you guys find it?

Two, I'm apparently terrible at discerning how many ball bearings are rolling about in the Isis. Will it be actually noticeable when I finally get the third ball in play?

Thanks. I'm sure I'll get to the 5% room one day, but the carpal tunnel I'll develop by solving this puzzle will probably keep me from readily joining conversations ;\

The 11th clue was originally posted by Puzz on this forum over a year ago. Unfortunately the original posting has been deleted, but the clue still apears in many posts within the "clues and progress" part of this forum :) So the 11th clue is not provided with the ISIS itself, you will only find it if you check the forum

Best of luck with opening your ISIS :)

I will just tell you sometimes the best thing to do when you get frustrated with the ISIS is drop what you are doing and go try doing something else for a while. It helps and just think even after you get it open there is still more to solve as far as with riddles and such. I have probably logged about 20 hours or so over the past 3 days simply doing research for the riddle I'm working on and I still don't feel I am anywhere near to solving it.

8) Welcome to the forums ifnspifn and to your Isis Adventure. Best of luck with it, because opening the Isis is only the beginning.

As for the 3BB, all I'm saying is that you should be able to tell.

Keep up the hard work and you'll get there!
