Me too, like the isis but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. The #### is moving around.
I've also noticed if you do clue one very slowly i still get some movement on this higher levels.- not sure if it needs to be completely unrestricted?

Anyone else started to get scrape marks?

Yep - between 3 and 4 (counting from the bottom).
It adds to the character of the puzzle, though
When I first made a little dent on my Isis, I was absolutely gutted - you should see the state of it now

Dents eh? I never managed to dent mine, even after throwing it a few times out a second story window. I must have gotten the indestructable version.

Quite probably. It's very difficult to work out which layer you're in, although you do get a feel for it after a while. I have been talking of layers 1 through to 5 so far, where 1 is the bottom and 5 is the top, but that's just my personal designation.

And just so you know (I'm sure I'm not giving anything away), layers 4 and 5 (the very top) are independent pieces, but do not move independently. At this stage, I have no idea whether this is a temporary thing or not.

There must be some relevance to it. Or SW just wanted it to look like there was another layer for cosmetic reasons. But then you'd think they'd let it rotate just to thow us off. Or maybe the fact that it doesn't rotate at all is the real red harring. Or we will find out later in solving the puzzle.

Difficult to say. If layers 4 and 5 were just made into one piece, I don't think it would look right cosmetically. Based on the feel of it, I don't think it will 'unlock'. I suspect that initially they spun independently, but SW then decided to join them together to make it easier to turn the very top. It's quite stiff near the top (on mine anyway), and believe it or not, I have sore thumbs

Anyway, regarding the top layers - I assumed that they would unlock to indicate that I had got my object to where it was supposed to be going...?
Isis - opened, Gold Coin won :)
Eagle Isis - opened
Isis 1C - opened :D
Ramisi5 - grrrr, jammed :(
Copernisis - opened
Tessarisis - opened

Hmmm, whilst it takes a while to get my brain going in the morning, I'm sure it kicked in about 20 minutes ago. And yet, I have no idea what you're talking about
