I got my isis for Christmas and I was really excited so I started fiddling right away even though I noticed that The top movable ring under the plunger has a small gap underneath it and now I am worrying that this may mean it is broken or something?
could anyone help me please? thanks

It'll be fine, don't worry about it. If it falls off then it can be fixed. It's no biggie though

now I look close you can see a thin metal bit almost as thick as a spring but it is only really small...it makes it very hard to twist that ring as well
