Postby ramsay » Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:20 pm

I bought the titanium Isis about five days ago and the two halves are 1 cm apart and the plancetas are about two inches apart. I can still hear a bearing rolling around inside. I just want to know if the puzzle is broken, stuck or if Im on the path to solving it. please help

Hi ramsay, and welcome to the forum.

The halves being 1 cm apart usually means the Isis is open... so I must be misunderstanding your description of the situation.
How many movable rings does your Isis have?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

The two halves of the isis are about 1 cm apart. I was working on the puzzle and while working on it the two halves of the isis twisted apart so there is a 1 cm gap between the two halves. Further, the two circular plancetas engraved on the halves twisted about two inches apart and will no longer line up. Now it sounds as if there is one bearing inside and no more, I just want to know if the puzzle is locked up or on the path to being solved.
