Clue help and progress on solving the Isis

Frustration is coming, enjoyment is leaving!

Postby dekesta » Wed Jan 09, 2008 2:04 pm

Ok, so ive been playing around with my Isis for three weeks now and it has never left my side, i have the clue written down if front of me everyday but i don't need to read them because they are forever stuck in my brain....yet i am still getting nowhere. I know exactly what to do after the first step but getting that darn 3rd bb is killing me!

Im doing clue one with clue 11, im not sure about clue two, and nothing, ive tried clues one+eleven 15,625 times each one with a different combination on the rings........and still nothing. Ive treated it like a coconut and can't get anything, ive tried rubber gloves and (apart from looking silly) nothing.

Is there a chance that mine is broken???

I know that is a common question, but one or two have to be made with slight inperfections??

:?: :?: :?

Three weeks isn't a long time, some people have taken much longer to open their Isis. If it takes you longer to open then when you do finally do it you'll feel you've achieved something greater :D

There have only ever been a very small number of Isis that have been made with "slight imperfections", so although yes it is possible, it is very unlikely. It's much more likely that your doing something wrong :?

You shouldn't need the rubber gloves at all until you've opened it and put it back together wrong (and hopefully that'll never happen anyway)..... unless of course you think they give you magical powers which will enable to open your Isis quicker :P

Doing clues one and eleve 15,626 times or a million times for that matter will get you nowhere on their own, you need to think what to do after 8)
If it helps- some of the clues are not meant as instructions but are statements of fact

Good luck
Chris :)

Thanks Chris, ill take that into account and keep going, i just needed a little motivation.

I think my problem isn't what im doing wrong, it's what im not doing right :)

just to point out, if you invert your universe, it may colapse... and you may have to create a new universe....

It should be easy to twist, should require next to no force at all :)
