Clue help and progress on solving the Isis

Hello and How the hell?

Hi guys

After suffering from a chest infection the last few days I decided to pick up my ISIS for the first time. The Clues were fairly easy to crack, I reckon I had the 10 within about 90 mins or so but oh my lord are they a bitch to follow through, or what? Seriously I reckon I know what I am supposed to do but I can't seem to get my thumb to cooperate, and on a very girly point it should come with a warning saying "Thumb nails will be broken".

I am also wondering just how accurate you have to be with clue 1 as I am visiting my folks and don't have my bearings (sorry for the pun) so to speak?

Anyway I just wanted to jump in and say "hi", happy plunging everyone. :D

You don't have to be really forceful with it (most of the time) so you shouldn't experience to many more broken nails. This is a puzzle not a coconut.

As for Clue 1, you're going too far into it (if you're serious, of course). It is just a general idea of positioning, not a specific "GPS" location. The American version of the clues are much clearer...

One little snippet that did appear on the forum some time ago was the use of a Tippex bottle top to press the plunger in. Don't know how well it works though, used my Tippex bottle top sized thumbs myself.

Thanks guys. I reckon I just have pathetic thumb strength, I obviously don't text my friends enough. Unfortunately I am ISIS-less at the moment since I am visiting relatives and thought it may be a bit too rude of me to sit playing with it the entire time. Fingers crossed (and thumbs erect) that it won't be too long before it is back in my hands.

Happy Hogmanay!!!
