Newcomer to IAS!

[Latecomer to the Isis Adventure here! ]

Well, I started on my Ramisis yesterday and I have to say: I'm very happy that it seems to be a bit more of a challenge than the Isis!

Though the ISIS is a very nice puzzle (and I'm sure I'll enjoy it for years to come!), the clues gave away so much and it just seemed like all that was left was to follow the recipe to the end... though it was a bit misleading that I was trying to listen for more than was actually there, but sometimes less is more! And I was a little disappointed that things weren't what they seemed - I was quite looking forwards (and yet daunted at the same time!) to that aspect of the puzzle. :D

The RAM clues had me stumped for a while - but I've managed to decode them in the end (even one which seems to be somewhat 'incomplete'? though maybe I decoded it wrong! :) ) - I started on completely the wrong path when looking for a way of decoding these, yet again looking for the hard solution to an easy problem! :P

If only I could now figure out whether I'm at the start (or whether I got underway without knowing it!) - I'd be a happy man!

Hopefully I'll get this at least somewhere near half-open by the time I get the Copernisis from the girlfriend next month! :D - otherwise I might have to become a puzzle-hermit and take on these puzzles full-time!

[hopefully none of the above gives away too much about either puzzle... I'm a forum n00b!]

Hello buddy

The Ramisis is a little tricker than the Isis to the point that Andrew had to change the design of it to make it easier for people to solve. You need to be in a really quiet room to truly understand what is going on in there :)

It's nice to see a new face :) I dont write much on here anymore but I am always in the background :D

You will love your Copernisis puzzle when u get it, when u finally get the exact answer for the puzzle everything just fits in to place.

You should crack on and try and sole a pyramid now you have your Isis open :)

Woot! So, I was playing with this darned pyramid all last night and didn't seem to be getting anywhere with it...

I put it in my jacket pocket and took it to work, and as soon as I took it out again: things were different!

I feel a little cheated that my pocket may have solved this puzzle for me - but I must have been close beforehand: "I loosened it", so to speak! :P

Now if I can only figure out what my pocket did... and find my way back home! :D

Sounds like me with my 'hard' three pin Kuku.

After weeks of cursing the damn thing - it just fell apart when I picked it up!

Have since re-assembled it and taken it apart several time - sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes it takens 5 hours - what fun.
