The Isis Adventure

I was recently fiddling with my Ramisis, and suddenly noticed the BB wasn't making any noise. It's happened before, so I just shook it a little. Nothing. No matter what I do (I even tapped it a few times with a rubber mallet), the BB will not make any noise. I've turned all of the layers multiple times, nothing. Is this normal? Because I had some 'problems' with my Isis, and am hoping that something similar has not occurred to my Ramisis.
