Clue # 2

Hello all
I'm not sure how to do this without posting something that might not be allowed.
I'm having some issues with clue #2
I have solved all other clues without much trouble- but for some reason clue 2 is giving me some issues.
I even got the decrypt clue from the website (which is cryptic too) I think I have solved this
however, this does not match the clue #2 given in the pdf download booklet
in addition, the website clue solved makes no sense what so ever - it's talking about the light
looking to get some help with clue #2
even if it's just a gentle start in the right direction
I can PM you the other 4 clues I have solved- as I understand the cryptic code and how to decode it
but just can't seam to make any progress with clue 2
thanks for your help

I decoded them all from a PDF file and Clue 2 didn't mention anything to do with the light. It also had a typo in which doesn't exactly help the decoding process.

Hi
Thanks for your post
hummm might be wrong in my decode then
however, that was off the website and not the PDF
the typo might be what is giving me a hard time

by umm... Username?
That's strange, are you talking about the "purchasable clues" or the clues in the instruction manual? My clue #2 (from manual) didn't have a typo, and was in fact about the light. I'm puzzled. (admins feel free to edit if there is TMI.

Hi
I did "buy" the clue from the site
this is a cryptic clue as well. at the moment I'm not sure what to do with it. As it does not seam to match up to the number of words in the PDF version
I think that I solved this one...was talking about the light
but then tossed that page out since the last post said there was nothing about a light in his.
I'm having a hard time trying to decode clue 2 from the PDF (what you download when you get your puzzle) As noted I have decoded all other clues and can't seam to make any progress with clue 2

Hi Orion2185,
I've just checked the clues that I decyphered last year when the Ramisis was released and clue 2 was about a light and it doesn't have any errors in it. However, I've just downloaded the Ramisis Booklet from SW and clue 2 is different! I don't know what the solution is to the new clue as yet, but I'll hopefully have fun decoding that later
The other 4 clues seem to be the same.
Karen

Hi
Thanks for your input
ummm....username got the same decode for clue 2
and now you
so I think as you noted that SW has changed clue 2 as I got the new PDF file and the code is different

Hi Orion,
SW really have changed clue 2 in the PDF booklet! It doesn't speak about the light as clue 2 did previously and as Pervigilo mentioned above, the new clue 2 does have a typo.
Change the part that reads *217716131613* to *21777216131613* and that will solve the typo
I hope that helps?
Karen

Great help from Karen there!
The old clue2 was untrue, the new clue2 is very true and actually useful.

Hi
Karen thanks for that!
Yes, the old clue 2 did not apply at all
this is what made me think that I decoded it wrong.
will have to work on the new # 2
sounds like it's of more help than the old clue 2
thanks everyone for you help on this
