Nearly there?

I finally got the bb int the central shaft, and after shaking and twisting it a bit, I got the bb out and into the bottom layer (Ithink.) However the top layers started jamming when the placenta symbol is at the back (when turning anticlockwise.) Also, it sounded like the bb fell into some sort of hole, as when I shook it laterally, there was no sound, but I could hear the bb rattling when I shook it up and down. I somehow got back into the shaft, but my question is, did I get to the chamber relese point? And if so, is it broken and what should I try and do now?

By the way, I think I got the bb to the second release point before I got it to the second one, if that affects anything?

I would love that advice, too! I am in the same spot I think, and the key chamber has never opened. I have gotten to this point, started over, relocked the pyramid to start fresh, and here I am again. top sections not moving. THe key chamber looks like it is trying to move. It is not flush with the side of the pyramid anymore, but it is only a tiny bit raised. Is it just stuck? I know some people have had to use pliers. please advise!

If the placenta symbol is locking at the back then you've gone past the key chamber release point. Your were either holding the key chamber in at the unlock point or were spinning the layers too fast. Either way, your past that point now. Your next step is to get the bb back to start... again, if you spin the layers too fast here you'll miss the unlock and be right back at start ;)

Also with some of the earlier Ramisis it helps to apply some downward pressure (compress all the layers together) as you are turning the layers past the point where the key chamber opens.

Or there may be 'something unintended' inside affecting the opening mechanism.
If you can move from start to end without the keychamber popping out, then it's time for gold level support!

I dont know if I am at the end, I just know that I get to where the top stops turning. Is that the end?

Does the placenta stop at the front or the back?

So your just past the key chamber release point. Your next stop is the full dismantle, your key chamber will release at this point too.

You'll need to listen carefully from now on as this second part is much much more difficult, and even if you make progress its much easier to make a mistake and land back where you are now than to make further progress... may the force be with you   (you'll need it  )

You mean the key chamber, right?

Both are correct.

so should I assume that since I was holding inthe key chamber while turning it when I first got it,that I have missed that ,and I should move on to the second opening, or have I ruined it and need to send it back?

You should move onto the second opening, you haven't ruined it
