Soo Close yet Soo far away

I finally got the second chamber pop (Again.....) And with my extra powerful spring, it actually shot completely out of the puzzle  But sadly no green light. Not that I expected one since I didn't have the red light either.

So here's a question, if there is a prize for the 1st person in a timezone to open the puzzle (Not that I'm the first in my TZ) and you have no Green light so now you have to ship it off to SW (In my case from the US) and they fix it and then mail it back with a new battery or whatever. That process adds say another 10 days before you can see the green light to get the code to complete the puzzle. In the mean time someone who started the puzzle at the same time that had a good battery takes 9 of those days to solve it. Who was the first, especially when there are prizes of big money involved.

Forget about the time zone leader board.
If the prize is ever rewarded, it will go to Cornett.
Nobody else solves the Ramisis in only 2 days...

No way, read your booklet again:
Ramisis booklet step 2 wrote: ... A time zone leader board has been created for the Ramisis and this leader board will list the best times for solving the Ramisis with a 500pound reward available to the player with the fastest time at midday on 09/09/09 ...
The exact meaning of timezone is not clear to me in this context, it does not say there is going to be one prize per timezone on earth... :?

Did any of the Ramisis solvers see a list of the best times somewhere?

he contacted me and said since the leaderboard part of the programming was defective there would be no prize....under 36 hours for me for real....it was 2 sittings of about 4 hours i was at work then at home....never fixed it from saying over 2 weeks long and told me "no prize" :?

as i have said before i was not the actual first to open one..due to failures in the puzzle they could not finish...but i did....
one of those little "lets move on" things...everyone is complaining...im not adding to that!

Steve

i would take a gold coin and just keep it for my collection

that would be awesome. even if i couldn't get anything for it, i'd love to eventually get a gold and a silver coin to add to my collection.
