Ugg!

Postby themagicdude » Sun Dec 14, 2008 12:35 am

I'm so tired of this thing. I've had it for a month now and I haven't even gotten the key chamber yet. I have an excellent theory about the inside that explains every click, roll and lock that I can hear or feel. I've come up with several postulates based on my theory and they all work out well. Anyway, even with this awesome theory, I can't begin to imagin how to procede. I've been trying new ideas for weeks and nothing works. I'm getting really dishearted. I remember feeling like this on the isis I for a few weeks, and then reading lots of supportive posts. That's what I'm looking for. Anyone have anything supportive to say?

there are lots of "hurdles" inside this baby....you could get lost for many, many days in the wilderness of the Ramisis...keep plugging and dont focus on this place...your adventure is your own...maybe we have created an enviroment of over competition in here...its you against that puzzle...not against those of us who found the straighter path through the wilderness.. :D ..you CAN do it,....and when you do you will look back on these days in fondness....besides the online game is just sick...difficulty level=SICK...
theres no hurry.... :D

I've been in and out of the ROH and by the sound of it have 2 bb's together.
My question is when turning the layers are they just multiples of quarter turns, or are there eighth, sixteenth etc. turns as well.

Anyone want to PM me without giving to much away Thanks

i am in the same spot magic dude - i believe i have the internals mapped out i just cant figure out how to navigate it - i think our best bet is a lot of silence - some patience and persistence and we will eventually get through the puzzle.

I know how you feel too, I have a Ramisis and Ramisi5 and they are both well and truly, totally and completely shut :?

But we can't give up, I'm sure well all get them open eventually :D

Same. The key chamber is a distant dream to me (Ramisi5) :)

And there are TWO bb's you say??

Tbh I haven't spent more than about 20 minutes a time on it. Roll on the xmas hols when I can sit in the corner for hours, eyes wide, rattling twisting and listening to myself... and shouting "QUIET" whenever anyone dares move across the room :D
See you at the next Pyramid...possibly.

I was told that my key chamber should have popped out by the time I get to this point. Is that true? I'm at the stage where it locks at 180 degrees.

Really? I went from ROH along clue #3 to locking at 180 degrees, and back, plenty of times now.
Should doing this part again (and again) release the key already?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

No actually he means you may have to get to the finish point AND then back to the start point again, as if you had just taken the ramisis out of the box for the first time. You may have inadvertently reset the whole thing. I did that about 5 times...
