odd symbols

has anyone else noticed the little odd symbols on the under side of the sections?
They are only in 1 corner of layer 1 and 2?

Yes, a few people have noticed them.
What you need to figure out is,
Are they there to help you solve the puzzle? Or are they there to aid production procedures?

They are only on the standard Ramisis, they are not on the Ramisi5.

They weren't on my original (Hamleys) Ramisi5, but they've magically appeared on my new and improved (yet still not working) Ramisi5.
